i'm so in love with my leg garter DIY that i felt it needed it's own post. I can't believe how easy it was to make and how expensive it looks! I just used three chains and a bracelet from primark. I think it's safe to say it's my cheapest and favourite piece of jewellery i own. and i've already got lots of ideas of different designs and ways to wear it. Feeling inspired x

oops, i thought i was on a bit of a roll there, posting something everyday but unfortunately my roll has come to abrupt end as i've just sat down to right todays post and realised it's half past midnight! oh well, we can't win 'em all!
Myself and David have just got back from a gorgeous meal round our friends house - it was a lot of fun, with a lot of good food and a bit to much good wine. But either though I may be a tad intoxicated, i'm going to give you a round up of my day!
So today I spent the whole morning catching up with my favourite blogs and online browsing and I found so many inspiring things!
I cam across a article about.. and i knew I had to try this myself! I jumped on my bicycle and cycled to town and picked up all the bits I needed to create my own beautiful leg chain. it's gorgeous!! i'm definitely going to try a few more ideas tomorrow!
When in town I couldn't help treating myself to a thing or two - I bought a cute bow clip for my hair and a tee from the mens section in primark which i'm wearing right now. I'm not sure what drew me to it as usually stroll right passed the mens section and head for the cheap shoes, i just knew it would be great for a DIY! so far i've only cut the sleeves off and have teamed it with my high waisted jeans and my oh so over worn black booties but I plan on trying a new idea i've had.
Tomorrow i'm going to try something knew and do a picture post. Of course i'll include a few pictures of my new DIY leg chain (that only cost me £5 to make may i add) and my DIY tee. And other pictures of things i've made and bought. It's probably best to expect a few random pictures as well as i'm sure I'll get carried away. Nanight x

Today has been nice and cosy. It could be considered unproductive but i'm going to go on a bike ride this afternoon which will make up for my lazy morning, i think. When i find the motivation!
I've just finished watching Singing in the Rain with my Mama, and i already want to watch it all over again.



the cute card I arrived home to today. My boyfriend, David, said he saw it and thought of me :) aww.

as it's early days i thought i start of with a simple outfit post as i'm hoping I can't really go wrong with that. I don't really want to concentrate on posting outfits as this blog is more about things i'm making and inspiring things i've found but i'm sure a few will turn up here and there..

here i'm wearing my striped knitted skirt, it was £5 from Primark and i love it - but i've struggled to find something perfect to wear with it, i first teamed it with a tan leotard and brogues and little cream socks, which i thought looked quite cute but my boyfriend did not agree! This time I think i've definitely found it the perfect friends. my new £5 boots - they are my latest bargain and i've worn them everyday since i found them - black ankle socks and my trusty cream tunic.

I've also got my leather jacket back out of the wardrobe I've been wearing my fur coat most days lately but since the sun was shining this morning I thought i'd take advantage! The studs on the jacket were added by me. And my hairband. A simple black band but i've pinned my bow tie to the front to give it a bit more character.

Apologies for the picture, hopefully as i get more comfortable they'll become a bit more adventurous

Time for a little bit about me. I think this was the part I was dreading the most when thinking about starting a blog. It's very hard to make it sound as though it isn't just a copy and paste from some "howtobeafashionblogger" guide But here go's. I'm Bethany. I'm 20 years old and living in London whilst studying Fashion Design. I'm only in my first year, and not to sound to dramatic, the whole experience is surprisingly overwhelming! Now that my first semester is over, i feel like i really could sleep for a week or two. But no time for that, as i've promised my 2012 will be a very productive one, from start to finish. Another promise was to start this blog. I don't expect millions of people to read T&T but i really think it'll help me get my life in order, get some perspective and finally stick to something! I plan on recording the things i've made, things i've found, the things i love. And of course things i'm longing for. Plus all the numerous pretty things that catch my eye every day. and thats me.
